Join us for a screening of Not Your Butter Chicken. This TELUS original docu-series, celebrates untold stories of South Asians in Western Canada through the eyes of food and wine expert, Shiva Reddy, recipient of multiple Les Dames BC beverage scholarships.
This event begins at 6, with networking over wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Dames Meeru Dhalwala and Susan Mendelson cater a delicious light supper. The screening includes an episode of Not Your Butter Chicken, wherein Shiva explores themes of culture, tradition, and newfound home through story-telling.
The highlight of the evening is an intimate chat between Dame Leeann Froese and Shiva Reddy, where we see their 10+ year, co-mentoring, relationship in action. Then Q&A time… bring your questions!
