Les Dames d’Escoffier, BC Chapter’s Mother’s Day High Tea took place on May 9, 2026, in the Arbutus Room at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, in support of the Les Dames scholarship program.
Dame Chef Christine Godlonton created a menu of egg, seafood and cucumber tea sandwiches, scones with traditional accompaniments, and sweets including madeleines, petit fours and tarts.
The program paired a welcome beverage of Saicho Sparkling Tea, presented by Dame Sommelier Ceri Barlow, with live music from soprano Elise Boulanger.
