Biography
Cassandra Anderton is a Vancouver-based food, drink and travel writer, broadcaster, and publisher of Good Life Vancouver. She contributes to Vancouver Is Awesome, VITA Magazine and The Growler, covering restaurants, producers, culinary travel and the people behind British Columbia’s food and drink community.
Through Good Life Vancouver, Cassandra shares dining discoveries, travel stories, cookbook recommendations and road trips. She also created the Women in Food & Drink BC directory to help readers discover and support women-owned and co-owned businesses across the province.
Cassandra is a brand ambassador for Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse. Her wine and cider education includes WSET Level 3, ISG Level 2 and she is working on the Certified Cider Guide Level 1.
A past president of Les Dames d’Escoffier BC, Cassandra currently chairs the chapter’s communications committee. She is also a member of the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia.
Born in New Zealand and raised in the Okanagan, Cassandra brings a local perspective and a traveller’s curiosity to her work.

Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse is a farm-based cidery on the Saanich Peninsula near Victoria, British Columbia. Founded by Kristen Needham, Sea Cider produces craft ciders alongside its Temperance range of non-alcoholic beverages.
The farm welcomes visitors for cider tastings overlooking the orchard and Haro Strait, and hosts weddings, private gatherings and community events.
Cassandra represents Sea Cider through wholesale sales, tastings, events and hospitality partnerships.
